Our Commitment
As they grew older, Vise and Captain Vili shared a concern about the increasing commercialisation of their neighbouring islands. They witnessed how mass tourism was threatening the delicate balance of their ecosystem and eroding the traditional way of life. Determined to make a difference, they decide to join force and create a unique adventure tourism experience that would showcase the authentic culture and natural beauty of Tonga.
Our Vision
Their vision was to offer tailor-made experiences for those seeking to immerse themselves in the real Tonga. They wanted to share their knowledge , customs, and love for the ocean with visitors, prioritising customer safety, environmental sustainability, and community engagement.

Vise's family had been in the kayaking business for over 30 year's, sharing their knowledge and passion for the ocean with visitor's from around the world. His father, a skilled fisherman and a kayaking tour guider, taught Vise the traditional ways of fishing and sailing using land marks, reading the stars, the wind and using your surrounding. These early lessons instilled in Vise a profound appreciation for the sea and the importance of preserving the ancient customs of his people.
Captain Vili, on the other hand, had spent years honing his skills as a whale swimming guide, certified scuba diver, and eventually, a captain. Vili's family is one of the first Tour agency in Tonga. The first pioneer family to start Whale swimming business in Vava'u. Vili's extensive experience and expertise had earned him a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable and respected Captain in Vava'u.
In the picturesque islands of Vava'u, Tonga. Two local boys, Vise and Captain Vili, grew up surrounded by the pristine waters and rich cultural heritage of their native land. Born and raised in this Pacific paradise, they developed a deep love and respect for their culture and the environment.
"We want the world to see Tonga through the eyes of the Native's." Said Captain Vili. Not through commercialisation, Not through Colonisation, but genuinely learn from the people who have been here for thousands of years.
'Epeli Hau'ofa a well known Tongan Writer said. "No people on earth are more suited to be guardians of the world's largest ocean than those whom it has been home for generations. Our role in the protection and development of our ocean is no mean task, it is no less than a major contribution to the well-being of humanity. Because it could give us a sense of doing something not only worthwhile but noble.."
Our Story
As they embarked on this journey. With over 50 years of combined experience, Vise and Captain Vili remained committed to their core values: respect for their culture, care for the environment, and a passion for sharing their knowledge with others. Their story serves as a testament to the power of community-driven tourism and the importance of preserving the unique cultural heritage of Vava'u.
